Mikey was a fun-loving 23 year old.  He had so many close friends. He was sweet, funny and the life of the party.  

We miss him!  

He was a wonderful son, loving brother and good friend.  

He always loved all animals which is why we originally chose the RISPCA as the benefactor of this race for the first two years.  This year we are helping the wildlife in Rhode Island through the non profit, Wildlife Rehabilitators Association of R.I.  

We had many cats  and dogs while Mikey was little, some of them found, some of them adopted from the shelter.  He loved them all.  He would save any animal that needed his help.  

Mikey was killed by a hit and run driver, that to this day, has not been found.  This person hit him and left him to die on Tollgate Road in Warwick, Rhode Island
on August 2, 2008.  There is a reward for information on the accident.

Shared memories can be a source of comfort and joy.  Mikey lives on in our thoughts and prayers and in the vivid memories of the things that he taught us.
